بسم الله الواحد القهار

Sheikh Al-Mahawzi:

Al-Himyari: Ahmad Ibn Mohammad Ibn Isa from Ahmad Ibn Mohammad Ibn Abi Nasr who said: Al-Ridha(عليه السلام) said: Abu Ja'far(عليه السلام) said: "Whoever wants that there would be no veil between him and Allah, so that he can look at Allah and Allah looks at him, he should adhere to the Wilayah of Aal-e-Mohammad(عليهم السلام) and disassociate himself from their enemies, and he should follow an Imam from among them, for if he does so, Allah will look at him and he can look at Allah."

The Religion/Beliefs through which Allah accepts our deeds

بسم الله الواحد القهار

Sheikh Hadi An-Najafi:

Al-Kulayni from Al-Husain Ibn Mohammad from Mu’alla Ibn Mohammad from al-Washsha’ from Aban from Isma’il al-Ju’fi who has said the following:

“Once a man came to abu Ja’far(عليه السلام). He had a book with him. Abu Ja’far(عليه السلام) said, ‘This is the book of a polemicist who wants to learn a religion that if followed ones deeds are accepted.’ The man said, ‘May the blessings of Allah be with you, this is exactly what I want.’ Abu Ja’far(عليه السلام) said, ‘Such religion is to testify that no one deserves to be worshipped except Allah, Who has no partners. That Mohammad(صلی الله وعليه وآله) is His servant and Messenger. And that you affirm and acknowledge that whatever he has brought is from Allah. That one has love (in his heart) for us, Ahl al-Bayt, and disassociates himself from our enemies, obeys our commands, maintains piety and humbleness in life and has hope in the rise from us of one with the Divine Authority. For us there is a government and he will establish it when Allah wills.’”

The chain of narrators of the hadith is Sahih(authenic).

Did the Ahlulbayt(عليهم السلام) use insulting words?

بسم الله الواحد القهار

Sheikh Sayyed Mohammad Taqi Al-Musawi Al-Isfahani:

Among the traditions that indicate this is a tradition that Kulayni has mentioned in Usul Kafi through a highly authentic chain of narrators from Sadir As-Sairafi that he said: “I heard Abu Abdillah, (عليه السلام), say: ‘In the Master of this affair there is a likeness to Yusuf, (عليه السلام).’ “He said: “I said to him: ‘You must be referring to [al-Mahdi], but to his life or his occultation?’
“He said: “Then he said to me: ‘Which does this swine-like Ummah deny? The brothers of Yusuf, (عليه السلام), were descendants of prophets; they made a business of Yusuf, then they traded with him and spoke with him, and they were his brothers and he was their brother; but they did not know who he was until he said: “I am Yusuf and this is my brother.”[12:90]
So why does this cursed Ummah deny that Allah, to whom belong Might and Majesty, can do with His Divine Proof at some time or other what he did with Yusuf? Yusuf, (عليه السلام), held sovereignty over Egypt and between him and his father there was an eighteen day journey; if he had wanted to let [his father] know he would have done so. But Yaqoob, (عليه السلام), and his sons, on [hearing] the good news, traveled the distance from their desert to Egypt in nine days. So how can this group deny that Allah, to Whom belong Might and Majesty, can do with his Divine Proof what he did with Yusuf? He will [come and] go in their markets and step on their rugs [i.e., enter their homes] until Allah to whom belong Might and Majesty, gives him leave in this matter; just as He gave Yusuf leave and they said: “Why, are you indeed Yusuf?” “I am Yusuf,” he said.[12:90]

Our Duty During Ghaybah

بسم الله الواحد القهار

Sheikh As-Saduq:

8 - Narrated to us Mohammad Ibn Al-Hasan Ibn Ahmad Ibn Al-Walid (رضي الله عنه): Narrated to us Mohammad Ibn Al-Hasan As-Saffaar: Narrated to us Ahmad Ibn Mohammad Ibn Isa and Mohammad Ibn Al-Husain Ibn Abil Khattab and Haitham Ibn Abi Masruq Al-Nahadi from Al-Hasan Ibn Mahboub As-Sarraad from Ali Ibn Rihaab from Abi Hamza Ath-Thumali from Abi Ja’far (عليه السلام) that he heard him say:
“The most proximate to Allah, the Mighty and Sublime and the most knowledgeable about Him and the most kind to the people are Mohammad (صلي الله و عليه وآله) and the Imams (عليهم السلام). So you enter where they enter and leave off whatever they leave. It denotes Al-Husain and his descendants as the truth is with them and they are the successors and the Imams are among them. So wherever you see them, follow them and if you did not see anyone of them one day, beseech the Almighty Allah and look into the Sunnah that you got and follow it. Love those whom you used to love(i.e. the Ahlulbayt عليهم السلام) and hate those whom you used to hate(i.e. their enemies), then very soon you will get deliverance(i.e. the reappearnace of the Imam عجل الله فرجه).”

who are the Shia?

بسم الله الواحد القهار

Sheikh As-Saduq:

The Shia were created from the same clay of the Imams:

My father, Allah may have mercy upon him, narrated to us from Abdullah Ibn Ja’far from Ahmad Ibn Mohammad from Ibn Abi Najran that he heard Abu al-Hasan (Imam ar-Ridha) saying:
He who antagonizes our Shia is antagonizing us and whoever follows them is following us, because they are part of us. They were created from the same clay from which we were created. He who loves them is one of us, and whoever hates them is not with us. Our Shia see through the light of Allah, move about in the mercy of Allah, and will win the dignity of Allah. We feel the same pains that any of our Shia feels during ailment, we become grieved whenever any of our Shia becomes grieved, and we feel happy whenever any of our Shia feels happy. No one of our Shia can be out of our auspices, whether he was in the east or the west of the earth. The debt that is left by any of our Shia is in our responsibility while the estate is his heirs’. Our Shia are those who offer the prayers, defray the zakat, perform the hajj to the Holy House of Allah, fast during the month of Ramadan, declare their loyalty to the Prophet’s household, and declare their disavowal of the enemies of the Prophet’s household.
Those are the people of faith, God-fearing, piety, and devoutness. He whoever rejects them is rejecting Allah, because they are the true servants and the genuine disciples of Allah. By Allah I swear, each individual of them will be granted (on the Day of Resurrection) the right to intercede for people as many as the individuals of the tribes of Rabeea and Madhar, out of Allah’s honor to them.
