Rijaal of Allamah Al-Majlisi

[ with the addition of Mu'jam Rijaal Al-Hadith of Sayyed Al-Khoei ]

Explantion of the terms used:

Trustworthy = The narrator is Thiqa, Imami(i.e. Twelver Shi'a), Adl(i.e. upright) and Dhabit(i.e. someone who transmits the narration with high accuracy). (Therefore his narration would be of the degree "Sahih" i.e. authentic.)

Trustworthy but not Imami = The narrator is trustworthy, but he/she might not be a Twelver Shi'a. (Therefore his narration would be of the degree "Muwath'thaq" which is a lower degree than Sahih.)

Praised = Mamduh(the narrator might have not been mentioned explicitly as "Trustworthy" by our early scholars, but he has been praised by some. Therefore his narration would be of the degree "Hasan" i.e. good, which is a lower degree than Sahih.)

Unknown = Maj'hool (the narrator might have not been mentioned explicitly as "Trustworthy" by our early scholars.)

Weak = Dha'eef
